السنوات الأولى

والدتها تمتلك معرض فني ولديها شقيق وحيد ولد في 1986 بدأت كرستن حياتها بسن ثلاث سنوات حيث ظهرت ف العديد من الإعلانات التلفزيونية وكان أول ظهرو له بفيلم عام 1989 ثم انتقلت عائلتها إلى لوس انجلس في عام 1994.ولقد تخرجت من مدرسة نوتردام الثانوية وهي تعمل بشركة للإنتاج برفقة والدتها قدمت دور بفيلم مصاص الدماء مع براد بيت وتوم كروز حيث رشحت عن دورها لجائزة گولدن گلوب وجائزة ام تي ڤي وأفضل ممثلة شابة عام 1995، انفصل والديها في عام 1995 وعقب هذا عاشت مع والدتها وشقيقها بجنوب كاليفورنيا ثم درست بمدرسة راني بينو جيرسي حتى الصف السادس وغادرتها للدراسة في كاليفورنيا كان من أوائل ظهورها في اغنية حلم لي كانت على علاقة بفابريزي موريتي عام 2007 ثم ارتبطت بجوني بوريل ومرتبطة حتى الآن بجايسون بيوسيل.[1]
