فيلو تايْلور فارنزورث (عاش 19 أغسطس 1906- 11 مارس 1971) مخترع أمريكي، كان من رواد تقنية التلفاز. ابتكر نظام التلفاز الإلكتروني الذي فاق الأسطوانات الآلية التي كانت تستخدم على سبيل التجريب في ذلك الوقت. وتقدم ـ وهو في العشرين من عمره ـ بطلب للحصول على براءة تصميم أنبوب آلة تصوير تلفازية إلكترونية، أصبحت تعرف فيما بعد بمقسم الصورة. وأوجد هذا الأنبوب صورة عن طريق إنتاج إشارة إلكترونية تتوافق مع درجة وضوح الأشياء التي تتلفز. عرض فارنزورث مقسم الصورة في عام 1927م. وحصلت مؤسسة الراديو بأمريكا آر سي آيه عام 1939م على رخصة من فارنزورث لإنتاج أنظمة لإرسال (بث) تلفازي إلكتروني تجمع بين تقنيته وتقنيتهم. وأشرف فارنزورث فيما بعد على بحوث في الرادار والطاقة النووية.
وُلد في بيڤر، يوتاه بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية.
