في الأساطير اليونانية، هراقليس هو صنو للرجولة الأپولونية.

الرجولة أو الذكورة Masculinity، هي مجموعة الصفات الجسدية والجنسية الخاصة بالرجل، وقد تعني أيضاً القدرة الجنسية للرجل. يمكن أيضا إستخدم مصطلح الذكورة لوصف الصفات الجسدية والجنسية للحيوان.

في الكثير من الثقافات، تشمل الخصائص الأساسية للذكورة؛ القوة، اللياقة، وعدم الكسل، الشجاعة، الحكمة، والشرف أو الأخلاق الحميدة.[بحاجة لمصدر].

الصفة المضادة للذكورة هي الجبن أو الخنوثة.[1]
