فلافيوس أردَبور أسپار Flavius Ardabur Aspar (ح. 400-471) كان Eastern Roman patrician and magister militum ("master of soldiers") of Alanic-Gothic descent.[1] وكجنرال لجيش جرماني في خدمة الرومان،[2][3][4][5] كان لأسبار نفوذا عظيماً على الأباطرة الرومان الشرقيين لنصف قرن، من ع420 إلى وفاته في 471، على ثيودوسيوس الثاني، مارقيان و ليو الأول، الذي في النهاية، أمر بقتله. His death led to the ending of the Germanic domination of Eastern Roman policy.[2]
