القتل الرحيم Euthanasia هو إنهاء حياة شخص بدون ألم، بسبب الإصابة بأمراض مستعصية وبآلام لا تحتمل لا أمل من الشفاء منها, وهو فعل مجرم في معظم دول العالم ماعدا هولندا التي أباحته في إبريل 2002 وبلجيكا أباحته في سبتمبر 2002.
